DESIGNATED PERSON ASHORE (ISM CODE)

Korgun Ariman

How we work

Our Istanbul office coordinates day-to-day vessel communication for MV EBRU and MV ECE while following vessel schedules and technical needs.

Depending on the requirement, that coordination may involve the vessel, office, agent, terminal, classification society, supplier, and commercial stakeholders.

Technical information is available on the fleet pages, AIS tracking views on the tracking page, and vessel- or cargo-specific reviews directly through the Istanbul team.

Our approach to accountability

We deliver our ship-management services across six complementary areas: vessel operations, technical coordination, maintenance follow-up, inspection support and reporting, marine logistics coordination, and safety and compliance.

The named Designated Person Ashore role supports ISM-related accountability between vessel and shore; the exact operational scope is confirmed for each vessel or enquiry.

OPERATING MODEL

A clear working model between vessel and shore

We assess each requirement in its vessel-specific context and keep the relevant information, responsibilities, and next steps clear for the parties involved.

  1. 01

    Clarify the context

The vessel, voyage, cargo, ports, date range, and available technical information are reviewed together, and missing inputs are identified at the start of the assessment.

  2. 02

    Connect the right parties

When required, we bring together the vessel, office, agent, terminal, classification society, supplier, and commercial contacts around the same issue and timeline.

  3. 03

    Follow open items

Priorities, responsible parties, expected information, and status updates are clearly recorded within the scope agreed for the vessel or enquiry.

  4. 04

    Communicate the status clearly

Completed actions, open questions, changing conditions, and next steps are summarised clearly and shared with the relevant parties.

Blue Marine Global's exact role is confirmed against the relevant vessel, enquiry, official records, and contractual arrangements. Public descriptions do not replace vessel- or voyage-specific instructions and approval.
